I got mine for $50 from Warehouse Deals as "used" but they arrived sealed in the original package. However, my package said 600 thread count on one side and 500 count on the other so maybe that is why they were discounted. The Midnight blue color is definitely the same as photo but looks more lux than photo. This heavy fabric has a nice sheen. It is a rich, deep color not likely to fade. As to all the talk of softness, thread count does not = soft at least in this fabric. The high thread count does make them heavier and solid. I cannot see through them when I hold up to the light and they are likely to last long. They are Egyptian Cotton according to the tag, and since they are not made with a t-shirt knit type of cotton they are not expected to be as soft as say, rayon or fleecy polyester. They are very nice sheets. Not usable out of the box, they must be washed before use to be comfortable. After washing and using fabric softener in the wash, they are fine. Not incredibly soft not scratchy. They do come out of dryer quite wrinkled but that normally goes away after you put them on and sleep in them. The top sheet is definitely over-sized. My one complaint is that the 4 pillow cases are standard size, when with Queen size sheets I'd rather have Q or K size cases.UPDATE: I added the 5th star. After having them for more than a month now I can say they are FABULOUS. They soften even more when I sleep in them, they are so thick and soft and comfortable I am spoiled for these type of sheets now. I got the Tribeca duvet set with flowers it goes perfectly with these sheets.
