We had been using regular bed sheets with separate fitted and regular sheets. It was nice to go back to waterbed sheets where the top and bottom sheets are sewn together along the foot, so tucking them in is easier. And these sheets look nice and are soft. Definitely a good choice. When I pulled them out of the box, I noticed the heft--seemed as heavy as my current sheets (a good sign). BUT, when I pulled them from the cardboard liner, I immediately noticed how thin they were. I held them up to a window and confirmed you could see light through them (you can't with my current sheets). So, I got out my digital scale and sure enough they weighed just a few ounces less than my current sheets. Next, I measured the thickness with my digital caliper. I didn't want to measure the hem, so I folded them in the middle and measured there. I measured five times at different places to account for measurement and fabric inconsistencies. My current sheets ranged from 0.0225 to 0.024 inches for an average of 0.023. These sheets ranged from 0.015 to 0.0155 for an average of 0.015 inches. So, they were indeed 35% thinner. How can they weigh the same, but be the same weight? Either they wound the threads super tight to get more cotton in a smaller area, or they are NOT 100% cotton. Maybe they have polyester in them (internet search says polyester fabric is denser than cotton). I'll need to do a burn test to confirm. I may do that with the pillow covers because I'll never use them (too thin). If I do this, I'll update this review.Final thing: the 1/2 inch hem on the sides continues to the top. The top lacks the nicer, wider hem you typically see. Lesson learned--don't buy sheets unless they show pictures of EVERYTHING.Not fitted like a regular sheet no elastic.Theses sheets are comfy but very wrinkly! I love how they fit on my waterbed, but the pillowcases are visible with my bedding and they show how wrinkly they are. This set of sheets fit great. Corners are easy to tuck in and bottom sheet is wide enough to put down between mattress and frame stitching is great. They do wrinkle some but I’m not wearing them.Wow! A waterbed top sheet that is wider than the bottom sheet. Perfect! Deep pockets for the mattress BUT ALSO has the extra sleeve to slip a piece of tubing (not included) - like pvc piping - into the pocket to secure the sheets under the mattress. Which is a feature I looked for - but didn't see in the description (but decided to try them because of the extra width of the top sheet- so extra bonus! Love the deep navy color and comfortable too. These are good quality sheets that fit good. They sent the wrong color hence the 4 star rating. Wasn't worth the hassle to send back. So be sure you emphasize the color you want .The waterbed sheets ate very comfortable but I found them challenging to get on the mattress.Una tela maravillosa, fresca y suave, pero el tamaño, es muy justo, solo cubre el colchón, tiene muy poco margen para sujetarlo al colchón y para extenderlo, si la persona que duerme a tu lado, da la vuelta, te destapa. Compre King Size, y parece matrimonial. The bottom sheet actually measure bigger than stated in the description and fit the bed perfectly. Super soft and good quality so far. Have ordered another set!As described in write upthey fit well and were very nice sheete
