Held up well in wash after three washes but be careful in home dryer I have an GE dryer large capacity but this blanket is puffy and the heat that comes from the back of dryer gets hot and will mash the fleece area of blanket. I make sure I stand and watch it and put it in for 10 or 15 minutes take it out rearrange the blanket where heat will not concentrate on one area to burn or mlet fibers Because my dryer can get hot in the back. If it compresses the fleece fibers I just take my hand and rub it to fluff it back out continue to put blanket back and dryer for 10 or 15 minutes and repeat until blanket is dry I believe I’ve done this four or five times before blanket is dried or you can hang blanket to air dry. Which I recommend if blanket is not needed right away and to continue to keep its appearance. I know there’s some shrinkage most likely from dryer. Blanket is very warm when in use on very cold nights. Hope this helps. Oh my cats really Like this material so I gave them the pillow shams
