Nothing special. Pretty coral color that does not do anything for my complexion. Maybe for a blonde.Pretty color that last long.Bought this thinking it was one of theirs that stains a light pink based on your lip color. Had that before & was obsessed with it. This is just a coral lipstick. I don’t used lipstick anymore because of the upkeep & far prefer their moisturizing stains over this. The lipstick!I've had my eye on Lipstick Queen's "Jungle Queen" every summer for something like five years and I finally pulled the trigger. I don't know what it was, the packaging or the super glamourous coral shade that intrigued me. I already have a very, very good coral lipstick: NYX, butter in fireball. In fact it is almost an exact dupe for this lippie. I just swatched them both on my hand I can't tell them apart. Both are very wearable. I normally can't wear much orange on my face, but this works with most complexions I think. The texture is smooth and the finish is matte. Nothing drying or goopy here. I like the texture a bit more than the NYX butter, which tends toward a bit gloppy, especially in the summer. Also the packaging is INFINITELY better. Yes, it costs twice as much, even at amazon pricing, but I've had that NYX packaging come apart in my purse and that's no fun. Dupes SHMUPES. This is a glamourous lipstick that deserves glamourous presentation. The teal green brush metal case with hot pink writing is such a fun, it seems to require a leopard print top, a set of coral beads and a 1940s wicker basket locker purse. It's Norma Desmond's poolside shade. (I know that movie was in BW but I always imagine this shade.)Love their lip gloss so I tried the lipstick greatpop of color. It was more tangerine than I expected but still liked it.I honestly thought Jungle Queen was going to similar to Mornin' Sunshine or Frog Prince (love both) in that it changes according to you. Not the case...it's a gorgeous, doesn't make my teeth yellow or my skin sallow orangey-red that makes me feel glamorous (and as a pale redhead, this color family is usually verboten to me) Great color saturation , doesn't dry, stays on, and perfect when rip-their-throats-out blue red won't do. Very surprised, and very pleased. This lipstick is perfection. Creamy, not sheer, but not completely thick, heavy and opaque, either. It's the perfect coral shade that I was looking for. Would definitely buy from lipstick queen again. The tube itself is also very high end and rich-looking, and has a soft and velvety hand.I thought it was natural as the other Lipstick Queen products, though this is slightly tinted and too pink for my taste.Liked the intense course and wore it to a function. The colour is fabulous ? value for money..... however doesn’t last that much like it’s counterpart in nude peachJust one thin layer and it's enough to give a healthy look, love it.
